It seems so funny to be writing about camping trips that we went on 4 or 5 months ago! Now that the weather has turned cool, and we've already had quite a few snowfalls, camping seems to be the last thing on my mind. But, when the weather was warmer (though not always warm enough!), and the days were longer, a-camping we did go.
On more than one occasion, we drove through the prairies, found a nice spot in the woods to call our own (for a few days, at least), and spent time with friends and family. And it was perfectly lovely.

Early summer camping means enjoying two things:
*friends*

*and warmth*

And there was plenty of both to go around.
